Conestoga College cuts 42 program sections for winter
The cuts land hardest in business diplomas, where international enrolment fell by half.

The college will run 42 fewer program sections in January, the registrar's office confirmed, with business diplomas absorbing more than half the reduction.
International enrolment in those programs fell by half after the federal permit cap, and the college's domestic intake did not fill the gap.
No layoff notices accompany the cuts; the college says the reduction is managed through sections taught by contract faculty whose terms end in December.
